The annual Holiday Open House was held this past Thursday at the Choctaw County Library and featured holiday entertainment and festively decorated Christmas trees.
The culinary arts department of the CCCTC provided hot chocolate, the CCHS Band Boosters held a bake sale, and Santa was on hand for pictures with the kids.
Groups who decorated Christmas trees included: Choctaw Regional Medical Center (People's Choice), Choctaw County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Enon Kids for Christ (Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Kids Group), Lucky 13 4H Club, Girlfriends 2020 (People's Choice for Handcrafted Tree), 4H Clover Buds (People's Choice Award, Youth Group), Joni McCulloch's Class at Ackerman Elementary School, Ackerman Elementary School Pre-K, CCHS Band Boosters, Farm Bureau- Brandt Peterson, Ackerman Twentieth Century Club, Walker Crimm & Ethan McCulloch and Carol Crimm.
Entertainment was provided by the CCHS Chamber Choir, Elizabeth Rester, FCA Jr. High Choir, Teresa Ryan, Caleb Studdie, Becky Orr, Bill Taylor, Selah Ryan and Kendal Gammil.
At Holiday Open House, people voted for their favorite tree. Winners were:
