The Choctaw County Board of Supervisors held their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, September 7, with only three supervisors in attendance.
Board President, Joey Stephenson, and District 5 Supervisor, Mark Bruce, were not present but did join the meeting by phone. District 3 Supervisor, Chris McIntire, presided over the abbreviated meeting.
The Board voted 5-0 to approve Drug Court MADCP Training at a cost of $175, lodging at a cost of $192, and mileage and meals at a cost of $393.
In other action, the Board voted unanimously to:
•Advertise for a Solid Waste Clerk.
•Approve claims.
•Approve jail inspection.
The next scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors is Monday, September 20, at 9 a.m.
