Blakely Elizabeth Lott will be headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Friday to compete in the regional gymnastic competition to be held Sunday.
Blakely is a state winner for Mississippi in 2021 level 5 all ages and a runner-up in 2022 level 6 all ages.
She will be in competition against the top eight girls from these states: Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana.
Blakely is the 12-year-old daughter of Terence and Jennifer Lott, and the granddaughter of Jane Lott and the late Rev. Dewitt Lott of Eupora.
