Now that the turkey has been cooked and eaten; now that “the” football game has been played; now that everyone has survived Black Friday and Shop Small Saturday, we turn our attention to the Christmas Season with special lights, music, parades and the many acts of giving all over our county.
Have you been downtown lately? Have you seen our beautiful new Christmas Tree located at our Courthouse? It’s just amazing and HUGE! Many thanks to our Chamber Director, Amy Hillyer who spearheaded the purchase of the tree and a big thanks to our sponsors who made this purchase possible - Mayor Will Hill and the City of Louisville as well as Louisville Tourism. A huge tree like that doesn’t magically appear; so, special thanks to the employees of Louisville Utilities and the City of Louisville for their efforts!
There’s a light show when you travel all around our county, but especially in our Louisville Main Street Historic District. All our Chamber Member shops in the district as well as around our city are brimming with lots of Christmas giving ideas. Plan to include them in your shopping this year! We always need to support our friends in our community.
