The Winston Academy Junior High Patriots remained undefeated and claimed the District Championship Thursday night with a commanding 44–0 victory over Oak Hill Academy.
The win moved the Patriots to 6–0 on the season, with one game remaining against Canton Academy.
Winston has relied on a powerful rushing attack and a dominant defense throughout the year. The Patriots opened the season with a 44–20 win at St. Andrew’s, then followed with consecutive shutouts: 22–0 at Leake, 44–0 vs. St. Andrew’s, 36–0 at Central Holmes, 46–0 at Winona Christian, and 44–0 over Oak Hill.
Through six games, Winston has outscored opponents 234–20, with the last five contests ending in shutouts. The offense has controlled the tempo with a disciplined, physical ground game, while the defense has consistently set the tone with energy and toughness.
Winston Academy hosts Canton Academy on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Louisville to close out the season and aim for a perfect 7–0 record.
The Pee Wee game will kick off at 5 p.m., followed by the Junior High game at 6:30 p.m.
