Mr. and Mrs. Jack “Bubba” Warner, Jr. of Louisville, are overjoyed to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Lynn Warner, to Matthew Tyler Young.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ruth Warner and the late Jack Warner, Sr. of Louisville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald O. Whitmire of Louisville. She is a graduate of Winston Academy and a 2006 graduate of Mississippi State University’s College of Education. In 2012, she graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Master of Education in Community Counseling. Amy is currently employed as a Children and Youth Department Supervisor at Lifecore Health Group in Tupelo, Mississippi.
The prospective groom is the son of Ms. Frankie B. Young and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Young of Collinsville, and the father of Tyler and Taylor Young of Starkville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Harries and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Young of Meridian. Matthew is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and earned both his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering (2006) and Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (2008) from Mississippi State University. He currently holds the position of Manufacturing Engineering Manager at the PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, Mississippi.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at South Louisville Baptist Church, with a reception and celebration to follow at the Old Perry’s Building. The couple will reside in Tupelo, Mississippi.
