Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hughes are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emma Christine (Chrissy), to Tyler Sullivan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Sullivan.
Chrissy is the granddaughter of Mrs. Emma Hughes, the late Mr. James Hughes and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Caldwell.
Chrissy is a graduate of Manchester Academy in Yazoo City. She is a 2012 graduate of Mississippi State with a degree in Elementary Education. While at MSU, Chrissy was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Chrissy also holds a masters degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College. She is currently a second grade teacher at Madison Ridgeland Academy and a coach at Crossfit Jackson.
Tyler is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Joel O’Briant and the late Mr. Bobby Sullivan.
Tyler is a graduate of Winston Academy. He is also a 2017 graduate of Delta State University with a degree in Biology. While at Delta State, Tyler was an All-American in Football and received a National Football Foundation Scholarship to continue his education. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Medicine at University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi.
The wedding will take place June 8, 2019 at 6 p.m at First United Methodist Church in Yazoo City, Mississippi.
