Rob and Valerie Turner of Mathiston announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Mae Turner to Chandler Eugene Strickland of Mathiston.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Jeanette McMurry of Mathiston, Sam and Patricia Turner of Starkville and the late Fred McMurry.
The prospective groom is the son of Adam and Jeanette Strickland of Ackerman. He is the grandson of Harold and Carol Sue Chandler of Eupora, Amey Strickland of Mathiston and Danny and Carolyn Strickland of Aberdeen.
The bride-to-be is a 2017 graduate of East Webster High School. She is attending Mississippi State University majoring in Biological Science.
The prospective groom is a 2017 graduate of East Webster High School. He is attending Mississippi State University majoring in Wildlife Fisheries & Aquaculture. He is employed with Fastenal in Starkville.
The wedding will be held August 10th at Mantee Baptist Church.
