The Nanih Waiya Lady Warriors improved to 7-3 on the season with two more wins last week.
The Lady Warriors hammered Southeast Lauderdale 64-39 on Tuesday and then mashed West Lowndes 64-45 on Friday.
The Warriors lost a pair of close games last week, falling 50-48 to Southeast and 64-61 to West Lowndes.
Nanih Waiya was scheduled to host Union on Tuesday and open division play on Friday at McAdams.
Nanih Waiya girls 64, Southeast Lauderdale 39
The Lady Warriors used a big first half to build a lead and cruise to a 25-point win over the Lady Tigers on Tuesday.
Nanih Waiya led 22-12 at the end of the first period and then outscored the Lady Tigers 15-4 in the second to lead 37-16 at the half. Southeast took the third period 16-15 as Nanih Waiya led 52-32. The Lady Warriors took the fourth period 12-7 for the final margin.
Nyshea Hoskin led Nanih Waiya with 22 points while Jasmine Hickman had 15 points and Ky Spivey had 14 points. Jade Chandler also scored eight for the Lady Warriors.
Southeast Lauderdale boys 50, Nanih Waiya 48
The Warriors weren’t able to hold onto a first half lead as Southeast rallied to take a two-point win.
Southeast led 7-5 at the end of the first while Nanih Waiya outscored the Tigers 13-8 and led 18-15 at the half. Southeast outscored Nanih Waiya 18-15 in the third to tie the game at 33-33 going to the fourth. Southeast took the fourth period 17-15 for the final margin.
Jaqurious Hughes led Nanih Waiya with 27 points while Preston Prewitt and Conner Hickman each had six points.
Nanih Waiya girls 64, West Lowndes 45
The Lady Warriors started hot in each half and took a 19-point win over the Lady Panthers on Friday.
Nanih Waiya jumped out to a 23-6 lead in the first period and led 36-24 at the half. The Lady Warriors then outscored the Lady Panthers 18-8 in the third and led 54-32 going to the fourth. West Lowndes took the fourth period 13-10 for the final margin.
Nyshea Hoskin led Nanih Waiya with 26 points while Jasmine Hickman had 11 points. Ky Spivey had 10 points while Zandy Eiland had nine points.
West Lowndes boys 64, Nanih Waiya 61
The Panthers built an early lead and held on to take a three-point win over the Warriors.
West Lowndes outscored Nanih Waiya 21-15 win the first and 18-12 in the second to lead 39-27 at the half. Nanih Waiya took the third period 10-7 to cut the lead to 46-37 before West Lowndes outscored the Warriors 28-24 in the fourth.
Jaqurius Hughes led Nanih Waiya with 18 points while Preston Prewitt had 12 points. Conner Hickman had 11 points while Sameer Hughes had 10 points and Parker Prewitt added eight points.
