The Nanih Waiya baseball team got a much-needed sweep in district play this week, taking a pair of 21-0 wins over McAdams.
The Warriors lost a mid-week game with Eupora, falling 8-0.
Nanih Waiya, now 6-8 on the season, will return to district play this week as they host Ethel on Tuesday and make the return trip on Friday.

The Warriors needed just two and a half innings to take a run-rule win over the Bulldogs on Tuesday in district play.
Nanih Waiya scored 12 in the first, eight in the second and one the third.
The Warriors had 10 hits in the contest and drew seven walks while taking advantage of nine hit batters. Caysen Dewberry was 2-for-3 with three RBIS while Kade Massey was 2-for-2 with a triple and three runs scored. Beau Simpson was 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored. Sanjiya Hickman single and had three RBIs while Caden McDaniel and Kaleb Davis each scored three runs.
Brooks Adcock pitched both innings and gave up one hit while striking out five.
Eupora 8, Nanih Waiya 0
The Warriors struggled at the plate as the Eagles took a shutout win on Thursday.
Eupora scored two in the second and six in the fourth.
The Eagles had four hits but committed five errors. Kaleb Davis was 2-for-2 while Caysen Dewberry and Caden McDaniel each singled.
Brooks Adcock started and pitched 3 1/3 innings and gave up eight runs with only three earned. Davis pitched the final 2/3 of an inning in the loss.

The Warriors took another big win over the Bulldogs on Friday to sweep the series.
The Warriors scored 17 runs in the first inning and then four in the second.
The Warriors had just five hits and took advantage of eight errors, eight walks and five hit batters. Brooks Adcock was 2-for-2 with three runs scored and three RBIs while Kade Massey was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Caysen Dewberry and Briceton Boler each scored three runs while Jxxx Chandler had a double. Caden McDaniel also had three RBIs and two runs scored.
Massey pitched both innings and didn’t give up a hit but walked one while striking out four.
