Every year during the second week of April, the telecommunications personnel in the public safety community are honored.
This weeklong event, April 11-17 was initially set up in 1981. National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is a time to celebrate and thank those who dedicate their lives to serving the public. It’s a week that is set aside so everyone can be made aware of their hard work and dedication.
In Appreciation to the faces behind the scene of Louisville/ Winston County E-911 Telecommunications we salute the ladies who are often heard, but rarely seen. (NPSTW), National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is dedicated to highlighting the work of Emergency 911 Dispatchers.
