Maben Library displays 4-H artwork

If you go upstairs at the Maben Public Library, don't feed the bears on the shelves.

The Controllers 4-H Clubs have all colors on display and the librarian, Mary Boutwell, enjoys just looking at all of them. She really feels safe surrounded by them and does not have a problem hanging out among them.

Controllers participate in Juneteenth Festival

The Controllers 4- H Clubs participated in the Juneteenth Festival at the J.L. King Center in Starkville on June 19.

With donations and a grant from 4-County Foundation Inc., the Controllers Generation II distributed large bottles of sanitizers, wipes, disinfectant spray, tissue and bottles of Clorox to the over 100 attendees.

MPL donates books for Free Little Library

The Controllers 4- H Clubs teen leaders met to plan upcoming events at the Maben Public Library.

Mary Boutwell, the librarian, said she had heard about the Free Little Library established by the Controllers Generation II 4-H Club in Maben.
