In His Grand Design for humanity in general and yours truly in particular, the Lord God arranged for me to be born and grow up in Mississippi hundreds of miles from the trout streams I would fish as an adult. In fact, I never saw a trout until I was twenty-three, an event that occurred on the Big Horn River in Wyoming.
