Tigers can’t fight off attack from Kemper, falls 1-1

From the opening kickoff, it was evident that the Kemper County Wildcats were a step faster than the Noxapater Tigers.

The Wildcats returned that opening kick 95 yards, rolled out to big halftime lead and cruised to a 45-6 win over the homestanding Tigers.

Warriors fall to the Wolverines; to hosts Red Devils tonight

The East Webster Wolverines needed all four quarters to beat Nanih Waiya on Friday night

The Wolverines pulled away with three scores in the last seven minutes to take a 41-7 win over the Warriors.

Nanih Waiya falls to 0-2 on the season and will host Stringer on Friday night.

Tigers roll over Southeast Lauderdale Tigers

Noxapater coach Caleb Kelly has said he has a talented offensive line and will lean on it this season.

That showed on Friday night as Noxapater rolled up 463 yards of total offense in a 34-20 win over Class 3A Southeast Lauderdale.

Noxapater improves to 1-0 on the season and will host Kemper County on Friday night.

Warriors fall to Vardaman, travel to East Webster tonight

Much like last season, for one half the Nanih Waiya Warriors competed just fine.

But Vardaman scored three unanswered touchdowns in the second half to pull away and take a 35-14 win over the Warriors on Friday night.

The Warriors falls to 0-1 on the season and travel to East Webster on Friday night.
