Noxapater defeats West Lowndes and Leake County

The Noxapater Tigers got plenty of work at the plate this past week, rolling up 42 runs in three wins.

The Tigers came from behind to beat West Lowndes 9-8 on Monday and then swept a doubleheader from Leake County, winning 14-2 and 19-0.

Warriors fall to East Webster

The Nanih Waiya baseball team had trouble with East Webster last week to open division play.

The Warriors lost 16-6 on Tuesday and then fell 12-2 on Friday to the Wolverines.

Nanih Waiya was schedule to play Sebastopol on Monday and Scott Central on Tuesday at the Sebastopol Tournament.

The Nanih Waiya Lady Warriors won three out of four games this past week.

After a tough 4-0 loss to Sebastopol on Monday, Nanih Waiya beat Philadelphia 14-5 and then swept a doubleheader from Newton, winning 21-0 and 13-1 on Thursday.

Noxapater take down the Tornadoes on the mound

The Noxapater Tigers only got in one game last week and flexed their muscle on baseball diamond.

The Tigers used a pair of five-run innings and took a 14-3 win over Philadelphia on Tuesday.
