Eagles having a rough start on diamond

The Grace Christian Eagles took another loss on the diamond last week, falling 14-4 to Meridian Homeschool in five innings. The Eagles trailed 8-0 after two innings. “We dug ourselves a pretty deep hole in the first inning,” GCS Head Coach Robert Jones said.

Eagles take tough losses on the mound

The Grace Christian Eagles have played two games on the diamond since their opening day loss to Sylva Bay. They took on Sylva Bay a second time and lost 18-1 without having a hit. Austin Paul scored the lone run in the first inning. Paul was walked and then scored on an error, where Grayson Skelton reached third.

Eagles Make Their Return to the Diamond

The Grace Christian Eagles have made their return to the diamond after taking a hiatus last season. They began their season with a 16-1 loss to Sylva Bay Academy. The Eagles’ lone run came in the second inning from an RBI groundout from Grayson Skelton, where Jack Butler scored.

Eagles tie for third in the TSCC

The Grace Christian Eagles finished their season tied for third in the TSCC after a 54-48 loss to Heritage Christian in the semifinal. Miles Brownlee scored 24, while Grayson Skelton added 10. “Our conference was tough this year,” Head Coach Bryan Nixon said, “It could have gone either way.”
