Absentee voting underway as election approaches

In-person absentee voting at the Winston County Circuit Clerk’s office will be open until noon on Saturday, Oct. 30 for those interested in casting their ballots early for the Nov. 2 special election District 32 State Senate seat.

Noxapater group planning upcoming activities

Big changes are happening in the Town of Noxapater. During their monthly town meeting last Tuesday night concerned citizens of Noxapater voted to start Noxapater's own chamber of commerce. The group has called themselves The Noxapater Community Chamber Alliance. This will be a community and business partnership.

City asked to upgrade walking track

A Eupora citizen has asked city leaders to consider upgrading a local walking track that has deteriorated.
