ICC releases spring honors list

Officials at Itawamba Community College have released the honors list for the 2019 spring semester. Local students named to the president’s list, which includes those with a 3.8-4.0 grade point average, were Chase Alexander Hays of Eupora, Jessica Renee Davis of Maben, Jared O’Neal Starks of Mantee and Tyler Lee Crimm of Mathiston

HCC honors lists include area students

Academic and technical students at Holmes Community College with exemplary quality point averages are recognized at the end of the fall and spring semesters by being named to the President's or Dean's List.

To be eligible for such recognition a student must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.

EMCC set to host May 19 baseball tryouts

SCOOBA – East Mississippi Community College will hold open baseball tryouts on Sunday at Gerald Poole Field on the Scooba campus.

EMCC’s upcoming baseball tryout session is open to unsigned 2019 high school seniors with NJCAA eligibility remaining. Tryouts are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
