Ackerman Elementary Fourth Graders pardon Thanksgiving turkeys

In Mrs. Sanders’s 4th grade reading class at Ackerman Elementary School, the students studied about the Presidential Pardoning of a Thanksgiving Turkey.

The students read passages, researched, and viewed past pardonings, and created their own turkey for a chance to be pardoned.
