The Choctaw County Varsity Baseball capture a 2-0 record in District play and 5-4 on the season.

The Choctaw County Chargers beat East Webster 15-4 on March 25.

On March 21, the Choctaw County varsity baseball team won their home conference game against East Webster by a score of 14-4.

City enforcing property ordinances; new law

The house in the accompany photo was demolished by the owner on March 7 at 1518 Adams Ave.

This property was cited in October for violation of the city blight ordinance, according to Ray Beeson, chair of the Eupora Property Maintenance Committee.

Simmons brings Cross of Christ devotion

The Rev. Michael Simmons of Mt Hermon and Rockport Methodist Churches of Choctaw County brought the March 7 Cross of Christ devotion.

A group of believers met at the cross site at 7:15 that morning. Pastor Simmons‘ devotion reminded attendees of the true meaning of the cross.
