Radio great Chuck Buell shared a story with me about – are you ready for this? – Beatles boots!
The ’60s pop duo Chad and Jeremy and Chuck rode together in a roller coaster for a station’s promotion. Chuck recalled, “This was the era when a lot of English groups were wearing those couple-inch-high, pointy-toed Beatles boots.”
