Claiborne sworn in as Alderman-at-Large

In a pre-meeting ceremony, on Tuesday, May 18, L.M. Claiborne was sworn in as Alderman-at- Large, a seat on the Louisville Board of Aldermen that was left empty with the passing of Alderwoman Frances Ball, in December 2020. Claiborne won a runoff election against Roger Caperton, and will be unopposed on the June 8 ballot.

Local Law Enforcement Memorial Observed

Ring ceremony held for 2020 Wildcat Championship Team

Forster updates aldermen on airport projects

In a regular meeting held on Tuesday, May 4, Mike Forster, President of the Louisville- Winston County Airport Authority, reported to the Louisville Board of Aldermen that projects at the airport are moving along nicely, and once completed will make the local airport one of the best, of its size, in this region of the country.
