Michigan takes down Alabama; Ole Miss wins 11 games with victory over Penn State

Ole Miss takes on Penn State in Peach Bowl, Bama takes on Michigan in Rose Bowl

Beginning on Wednesday this week through Saturday there will be four college bowl games each day with New Year’s Day concluding with five contests. No. 11 Ole Miss (10-2) will take on Penn State (10-2) on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Atlanta in the Peach Bowl. The No. 10 Nittany Lions, who are members of the Big Ten, are a four-point favorite.

SEC releases regular season schedules for 2024

The Southeastern Conference announced their 2024 regular season football schedules last week. The Peach Bowl bound Ole Miss Rebels will play Kentucky, Georgia, Oklahoma and Mississippi State in the friendly confines of Vaught-Hemingway. The Rebels will travel to South Carolina, LSU, Arkansas and Florida.

The Army and Navy contest never disappoints, and last Saturday was no exception. “The Long Gray Line” of the Army cadets held the Midshipmen on a fourth down play inches from the goal line with three seconds to play to preserve a 17-11 win for the Cadets.
