The Louisville Police Department is investigating a murder that happened the afternoon of Wednesday, June 21.
Investigator Mike Perkins said Nekendrick Nicholson, 20, allegedly shot Tyrekes Smith, 23, after the two got into an argument while walking back from Blackwells Store near Highway 397 and South Jones Avenue.
