Chargers drop to Calhoun City, take on Webster County this week

Friday, the Chargers and Lady Chargers fought a hard battle against the Calhoun City Wildcats and Lady Wildcats, as the Wildcats came out victorious in both matchups. The Wildcats defeated the Chargers, 80 to 62, and the Lady Wildcats defeated the Lady Chargers in Calhoun City.

Choctaw Co. High headed in the right direction

Choctaw County High School Principal James Catchot told the Choctaw County School Board that he believes the high school is headed in the right direction.
Catchot presented testing data during the board’s meeting Monday, Jan. 9. He said the first testing point is always low, but they’ve seen significant growth in their students.
