Food insecurity – that’s a term many in Winston County might not be familiar with, but it is a problem that affects many. Food insecurity, by definition, means a lack of access to healthy food due to multiple circumstances, including a lack of transportation by which to travel to stores with produce, meat, and healthy food choices.
