Eagles are young, hungry and ready to take on 2A

Year three brings opportunity to Eupora coach Ben Aldridge.

That’s the way the head man looks at this season. The Eagles lost several key pieces to the team including Ty Murphy and Chris Robinson, but Aldridge doesn’t have the term “rebuilding year” in his vocabulary.

Eagles, Lady Eagles fall in first round of playoffs

Basketball season finished up for the Eupora Eagles in the first round of the playoffs last week.

After each team finished up the Class 2A, Region 4 tournament it was an early exit for the Eagles and Lady Eagles.

Eupora looking to come out of district in great position

At this stage of the year, the goal is to survive and advance for the Eupora Eagles and both teams did just that in the first round of the Class 2A, Region 4 tournament.

With the season on the line, the girls and boys teams knocked off JZ George on Monday night to secure a postseason berth in the 2A playoffs.
