French Camp defeated by West Lowndes 38-14

West Lowdnes pulled away on Friday night as French Camp dropped another district contest, falling 38-14.

French Camp falls to 2-4 on the season and will travel to Vardaman on Friday night to take on the 6-1 Rams.

West Lowndes opened up with a 3-yard touchdown run and scored the two-point conversion to take an 8-0 lead.

Nanih Waiya defeated by Newton Tigers 34-13

Nanih Waiya football coach James Courtney said before last week’s game that he thought that Newton’s Tyreke Snow was one of the best athletes in Class 2A.

Snow proved Courtney right as he ran for 232 yards and four touchdowns as the Tigers took a 34-13 win over the Warriors on Friday night.

Noxapater loses to unbeaten Hamilton

The Noxapater Tigers lost their third straight game last week as they fell 43-8 to unbeaten Hamilton.

The Tigers fall to 2-4 on the season and 0-3 in Division 3-1A play while Hamilton improves to 6-0 with the win.

Noxapater coach Caleb Kelly said it was another tough night for the offense.

French Camp brings down Ethel 55-38

After a tough loss to Hamilton last week, French Camp coach Nathan Wright didn’t know how his team would respond.

The Panthers responded in fine fashion with their best offensive night of the year, rolling up 415 yards and taking a 55-38 win over rival Ethel Tigers on Friday night.
