On May 17, Choctaw Regional Medical Center hosted an event to dedicate their new water feature in honor of founding Board of Trustees member, Bobby Prewitt. The newest addition to the CRMC campus is located outside of the Emergency Room entrance and features rock, landscaping, benches and a flowing water fountain.

Gas prices rise by two cent ahead of Memorial Day weekend

Average gasoline prices in Mississippi have risen 2.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.95/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Prices in Mississippi are 16.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 121.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
