In a regular meeting, held on Tuesday, January 19, the Choctaw County Board of Supervisors requested bids for roof repair on the POLO building, with bids to be submitted by Friday, January 22. Bids were to be opened on Monday, January 25.
In other action, the Board:
•Approved a change order for the Crossroads Church Road project in the amount of $6.6K.
•Approved a one-year contract for voting equipment in the amount of $7K.
•Approved the hiring of Dewitt Vowell as a dispatcher.
•Approved a purchase order in the amount of $37.9K for the purchase of a new patrol car.
