WHAT: Nurses and respiratory therapists desiring to work for the state’s sole academic medical center and only hospital offering Level I trauma services can take advantage of walk-up interviews on the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Jackson campus.
WHEN: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, May 16. No appointment is necessary, although participants can apply online at umc.edu/careers prior to arriving.
WHERE: Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower fronting Woodrow Wilson Boulevard on the UMMC campus.
WHY: UMMC seeks to fill multiple registered nurse and respiratory therapist positions, with a special emphasis on interviewing new nursing school graduates for job openings.
MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Members of the media are invited to conduct interviews with organizers of the event and registered nurses from 1-3 p.m. Media is asked to park in Garage C, next to the Sanderson Tower, and parking stubs will be validated upon request.
