JACKSON, Miss.—Mississippi State Fire Academy (MSFA) will host its Annual Field Day May 21, 2022. This is an event, free of charge, and open to all firefighters. The original registration deadline, which was originally May 6, 2022, has been extended to May 13.
“Bring the kids and family, this will be a family friendly environment to meet and train with our fire service brothers and sisters,” said Instructor Chief Shannon Sandridge. MSFA will hold 3-4 evolutions before and after lunch. Evolutions will include use of the burn building, car fire, pump flange fire, rappel, pad fire, and multi-story search and rescue.
Firefighter Field Day will begin at 8:00am and conclude around 4:00pm and is held on campus #1 Fire Academy USA, Jackson, MS 39208.
