What: Resources for Silver City residents affected by March 24 storms and 250 hot meals.

Mississippi Department of Human Services Division of Aging and Adult Services will host a free resource event for the Silver City community on Thursday, May18, 2023 from 10 A.M. -2 P.M. at the Little Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Silver City, Miss.
MDHS is partnering with AARP-MS, Society of St. Vincent DePaul Organization and South Delta AAA who will assist Silver City residents with resources for families recovering from the March 24 tornado.
Silver City residents, regardless of age, are invited to attend to receive resources aimed at recovery and a return to normalcy. MDHS will be sharing resources to connect residents to programs offered by the agency year-round.
Attendees will receive a hot meal (while supplies last).
