The Noxapater Tigers dropped three division games this past week, falling 17-6 to Ethel on Monday, 14-0 to French Camp on Tuesday and 26-10 to the Panthers on Thursday.
Friday’s game with French Camp was rained out.
The Tigers will have their hands full this week as they take on rival Nanih Waiya, one of the top teams in Class 1A. Game 1 was set for Tuesday at Nanih Waiya and Game 2 will be at Noxapater on Friday. The following week, the Tigers will host Eupora on Monday at 6 p.m. for Senior night and finish the regular season on Tuesday at Sebastopol.
Ethel 17,

The Tigers committed seven errors as Ethel used three big innings to take a five-inning, run-rule victory on Monday.
Noxapater scratched four runs in the top of the first inning before things went south quickly. Ethel answered with six runs in the first, seven in the second and four in the third. Noxapater added two more in the fifth for the final margin.
Noxapater had just three hits in the contest as Dalton Keen was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored. Hunter Johnson had a single and scored twice while Depodray Coburn walked twice and scored twice. Nick Stone reached on an error and had three RBIs. Zach Kimbriel had a single and an RBI in the contest.
Landon Bailey pitched 1 2/3 innings and gave up 13 runs on four hits, five walks and two hit batters. Only four of the 13 runs were earned. Ty Duran pitched 1 1/3 innings and gave up four runs on four hits while Coburn pitched the last inning and only gave up one run.
French Camp 14,

The Tigers only managed two hits as French Camp tok a five-inning, run-rule victory on Tuesday.
French Camp scored one in the first, eight in the second and five in the fourth.
Noxapater got singles from Dalton Keen and Lane Bailey in the contest.
Hunter Johnson pitched 1 2/3 innings and gave up nine runs on four hits and five walks wile striking out two. Nick Stone pitched the final 2 1/3 innings and gave up five runs on thre hits and three walks.

In a football-like score, Noxapater scored most of its runs early as French Camp ran away with the win.
Noxapater scored three in the first, one in the second, five in the fifth and one in the fourth.
Noxapater had nine hits in the contest as Depodray Coburn was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Ty Duran was 2-for-2 and scored two runs. Dalton Keen had a single and drove in two runs while Hunter Johnson and Nick Stone each singled and drove in runs. Lane Bailey and Zach Kimbriel each had singles and scored runs for the Tigers.
