The Noxapater Tigers had a rough week on the diamond, losing a pair of games to French Camp and dropping a Saturday decision to Scott Central on Saturday.
The Tigers lost 22-3 and 11-0 to French Camp and then lost 11-4 to Scott Central on Saturday.
Noxapater will return to play this week as they host Nanih Waiya on Tuesday and will play at Nanih Waiya on Friday. On Saturday, the Tigers will host Forest in a 1 p.m. contest.
French Camp 22, Noxapater 3
The Panthers used two big innings to take a five-inning, run-rule inning on Tuesday in division play.
French Camp scored nine in the first, 11 in the third and two in the fifth. Noxapater scored its three runs in the first.
Noxapater had four hits as Landon Bailey doubled and scored a run. Hunter Johnson singled, scored a run and had an RBI. Ethan Easley and Riley Jones each singled while Nick Stone walked and scored.
French Camp 11, Noxapater 0
The Panthers broke open a tight game with a nine-run fourth inning to take a run-rule win on Friday.
French Camp scored two in the first and nine in the fourth.
Noxapater had four hits in the contest as Landon Bailey was 2-for-2 and walked. Hunter Johnson and Chevy Welborn each had singles for the Tigers.
Scott Central 11, Noxapater 4
The Rebels built a big lead and went on to take a seven-run win over the Tigers on Saturday.
Scott Central scored five in the first, three in the second, one in the third and two in the fourth. Noxapater scored its four runs in the fifth.
Noxapater had four hits in the contest, led by Lane Bailey who was 2-for-3 with two doubles. Nick Stone doubled and drove in three runs while Landon Bailey, Zach Kimbriel and James Kugle each scored a run.
