French Camp Academy will host a baseball jamboree on Saturday, Feb. 15. The event kicks off with FCA and Calhoun City playing at 111 a.m., followed by Calhoun City and Starkville Christian at 12:20.
The last two games of Starkville Christian and Eupora meeting at 2 p.m. and Eupora vs. French Camp playing at 3:30 p.m. Jamboree games are shortened contests that do not count toward season records.

LADY WARRIORS RANKED
The East Central Community College Lady Warrior softball team were set tol open the 2020 season Feb. 11 with a No. 15 national ranking in the first National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Softball Poll of the year.
First-year head coach Leigh White will have seven returning from last year’s team that finished 28-14 and with a No. 15 national ranking. The Lady Warriors advanced to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges State Tournament as the No. 4 seed before being eliminated in two games.
East Central softball teams have qualified for postseason play the past 16 seasons, with five straight years finishing in the final NJCAA Softball Division II Top 20 Poll.
Among MACJC opponents, Jones is ranked No. 4, Itawamba is No. 7, and Gulf Coast is No. 13. The Lady Warriors will also play No. 1 LSU-Eunice and No. 17 Lansing (Mich.).

CCHS IN KOSY SOFTBALL EVENT
The Lady Whippets of Kosciusko High School will begin their fast-pitch softball season by hosting a four-tem jamboree on Saturday, Feb. 15. The shortened games help prepare the teams for the upcoming season, but do not count toward overall records. Kosy will be playing Winona at 11 a.m. and Choctaw County at 12:30 p.m. Winona and Leake Central play at 2 p.m., while Leake Central and Choctaw County wrap things up at 3:30 p.m.

LADY BULLDOGS RALLY FOR WIN
Facing an 11-point deficit at halftime, eight-ranked Mississippi State rallied in the second half to defeat No. 16 Texas A&M, 69-57, at Humphrey Coliseum on Sunday and earned its second-straight ranked win.
The Bulldogs (22-3, 10-1 SEC) struggled to get going offensively in the first half and got outscored in the second stanza, 26-14. The Aggies (18-5, 6-4 SEC) shot better than 70 percent from the field in the quarter and had all the momentum going into halftime, but Mississippi State wouldn't give up.
Myah Taylor went off in the second half, scoring all 16 of her points on 7-of-8 shooting to go along with six assists and three steals to rally the squad. Rickea Jackson dropped her fifth 20-point performance of SEC play and notched her second double-double of the season with a game-high 21 points and 10 rebounds.
