The Noxapater boys ended their basketball season on Monday with a road loss at 1A power McAdams.
The Tigers fell behind early and were outscored in every period as the Bulldogs took an 89-50 win to advance to second-round action.
Noxapater coach Jerrick Porter was pleased with his squad, despite the lack of tallies in the win column.
“We did get better as the year went on,” Porter said. “I tell the guys that you learn from everything you do. I think they learned in every game. They worked hard all year long and you could see them getting better. I thought they played their hearts out against McAdams. It was really a case of our young kids against a much older team.”
