Rivals Nanih Waiya and Noxapater will get another shot at each other this week with a little bit more at stake.
Both teams entered the Division 6-1A tournament on Tuesday and squared off in an elimination game with the winner advancing to the semifinals and securing a spot in the Class 1A playoffs.
The two Winston County rivals were to square off for a fourth time this season on Tuesday at West Lowndes. The girls game will start at 6 p.m. and the boys game will follow.
The Lady Warriors end the regular season with a 6-18 record while the Warriors are 8-16 on the season.

The Panthers used a big second period to pull away from the Warriors and take a 33-point win on Thursday.
West Lowndes led 12-10 after the first period but exploded in the second as they outscored the Warriors 27-6 to take a 39-16 lead into the half. West Lowndes continued to extend its lead in the second half as they outscored the Warriors 15-8 in the third and 9-6 in the fourth.
Rodney Welch led Nanih Waiya with eight points while Trey McMullan had six points.

The Lady Panthers pulled away from a close game in the second half to take a 10-point win over the Lady Warriors.
Nanih Waiya led 11-9 after the first period and went into the half with a 20-16 lead. But West Lowndes started to take over in the second half as they outscored Nanih Waiya 15-8 in the third and 13-6 in the fourth to take the 10-point win.
Dallyn Nance led Nanih Waiya with 10 points while Taina Thompson added eight points and Morgan Mills chipped in eight points.

Noxapater 41
The Lions gradually pulled away from the Tigers to take a 12-point win on Tuesday.
After each team scored eight points in the first period, Hamilton outscored Noxapater 12-9 in the second to lead 20-17 at the half. The Lions pulled away in the second half as they outscored the Tigers 15-12 in the third and 18-12 in the fourth.
K.D. Carter led Noxapater with 21 points while Kyle Phillips added nine points.

The Lady Tigers struggled from the field as the Lady Lions raced out to an 11-0 lead and cruised to the win.
Hamilton outscored Noxapater in each period as they led 11-0 after the first and 23-7 at the half. The Lady Lions then outscored Noxapater 17-8 in the third and 8-1 in the fourth to take the win.
Kim Edwards led Noxapater with eight points while Morgan Hunter had four points.
