The Noxapater Lady Tigers split a pair of games last week.
After a 7-5 loss to Ethel on Monday, the Lady Tigers beat Class 5A West Point 7-1 on Tuesday to close out their week.
Noxapater moves to 5-7 on the year and will finish off the year on Monday as they travel to Starkville on Monday.
Noxapater 7, West Point 1
The Lady Tigers finished out the regular season with a six-run win over the Lady Wave on Tuesday.
West Point scored first with a run in the second. Noxapater then scored one in the fourth, two in the fifth and put the game away with four in the sixth.
Noxapater outhit West Point 11-2 in the contest as Morgan Duran led the way, going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Nona Wilkes was 2-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBIs. Kaitlyn Sanborn was 2-for-4 with a double while Madison Riggs doubled and scored two runs. Princess Welch singled and drove in a run while Addy Webb singled and scored.
Morgan Duran was solid on the mound as she pitched all seven innings and gave up one run on two hits and scattered five walks while striking out 11.
Ethel 7, Noxapater 4
Ethel scored five runs in the late innings to come from behind and beat Noxapater on Monday.
Ethel scored one in the first and fourth while Noxapater scored one in the second and two in the fourth to take a 3-2 lead. But Ethel scored two in the fifth and three in the sixth to take a 7-3 lead. Noxapater added a run in the seventh.
Ethel outhit Noxapater 10-5 in the contest.
Morgan Duran led Noxapater at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a run scored. Princess Welch doubled and drove in two runs. Marley Joiner and Raleigh Parker each singled and scored a run.
Lexi Thomas pitched all seven innings as she gave up seven runs on 10 hits and five walks while striking out six.
