Noxapater’s baseball season came to an end last week with a two-game sweep by Resurrection Catholic in the opening round of the Class 1A playoffs.
Resurrection used a perfect game to beat Noxapater 11-0 in the opener and then beat the Tigers 19-2 in Game two.
The Tigers also lost to Sebastopol 22-6 on Tuesday and Eupora 17-4 last week. The Tigers finish the season with a 4-17 record.

The Eagles got a perfect game from Clark Presley as they shut out the Tigers in Game 1 of the opening-round series on Thursday.
The Eagles scored four in the first, five in the second and two in the third.
Ty Duran got the start on the mound for Noxapater and gave up 11 runs, only six earned on 10 hits and fur walks while striking out two.

The Eagles banged out 17 hits and needed just five innings to take a run-rule win over the Tigers on Friday in Noxapater.
Resurrection scored four in the first and third, six in the second and five in the fourth. Noxapater scored one in the first.
The Tigers had only two hits in the contest as Hunter Johnson and Zach Kimbriel each had singles while Ty Duran scored Noxapater’s only run.
Landon Bailey got the start and pitched 3 2/3 innings as he gave up 19 runs on 17 hits and three walks while striking out five. Ty Duran got the last out for the Tigers.
Sebastopol 22,

The visiting Bobcats used a 13-run sixth inning to break open a competitive game and take a run-rule win on Tuesday.
Sebastopol led 3-1 after the first inning before Noxapater scored five in the second to go up 6-3. The Bobcats then followed with one in the third, four in the fourth and one in the fifth to go up 9-6 before scoring 13 in the sixth.
Noxapater had 10 hits in the contest as Depodray Coburn was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. Hunter Johnson was 2-for-3 three RBIs while Landon Bailey and Zach Kimbriel were each 2-for-4. Ty Duran walked twice and scored a run.
Lane Bailey got the start on the mound and pitched three innings, giving up six runs on four hits and three walks. Chevy Welborn pitched two innings, giving up 11 runs on 10 hits and five walks.
Eupora 17,

The Eagles scored 10 runs in the second inning and cruised to a 13-run win Monday.
Noxapater led 3-2 after the first before the 10-run explosion in the second. The Tigers added another run in the fifth.
The Tigers had five hits as Ty Duran was 2-for-4 while Depodray Coburn singled and scored twice. Hunter Johnson and Dalton Keen each singles, scored and had an RBI. Lane Bailey and Landon Bailey each had RBIs.
Coburn started on the mound and gave up 12 runs on nine hits and two walks. Nick Stone pitched 3 1/3 innings and gave up five runs on eight hits and three walks. Chevy Welborn pitched one scoreless inning and gave up on hit and one walk.
