Coach Jon Ginn’s first season at East Webster has been a good one so far.
The Lady Wolverines added two more wins last week as they beat Choctaw County 42-35 and Houlka 56-33.
The Wolverines split a pair of games as they beat Houlka 71-58 and dropped an overtime loss to Choctaw County 62-59.
The Lady Wolverines improved to 18-8 on the season while the Wolverines move to 17-9. East Webster will finish out the regular season as they host South Pontotoc on Monday and travel to Houston on Tuesday. The Division 2-2A Tournament will begin next week and will be hosted by Bruce.

Choctaw County 35
The Lady Wolverines used big advantages in the second and fourth periods to take a seven-point win over Choctaw County.
Choctaw led 5-4 at the end of the first period before East Webster used a 14-8 advantage in the second to lead 18-13 at the half. Choctaw cut into that lead in the third, outscoring the Lady Wolverines 15-12 to cut the lead to 30-28. The Lady Wolverines outscored the Lady Chargers 12-7 in the fourth to take the win.
Lauren Graves led East Webster with nine points while Kadasha Bryant and Isha Patterson each had eight points apiece.

Choctaw County 59
The Wolverines were able to force overtime but fell to the Chargers by three.
Choctaw led 10-6 at the end of the first but East Webster outscored the Chargers 16-12 to tie the game at 22-22 at the half. Choctaw outscored East Webster 18-14 in the third to take a 40-36 lead into the fourth. The Wolverines outscored the Chargers 14-10 in the fourth to send the game into overtime. Choctaw County outscored East Webster 12-9 in the overtime period to take the win.
Keevon Patterson led East Webster with 20 points while Carrin Townsend had 17 points. Reed Gatlin also chipped in eight points.

Houlka 33
The Lady Wolverines held Houlka scoreless in the first period and cruised to a 23-point win.
East Webster jumped out to a15-0 lead in the first period and outscored the Lady Wildcats 16-7 in the second for a 31-7 advantage at the half. Houlka took the third 14-12 while East Webster outscored the Lady Wildcats 13-12 in the fourth.
Isha Patterson led East Webster with 19 points while Emma McKee had nine points. Kadasha Bryant, Whitney Winter and Jaden Jackson each had six points apiece.

Houlka 58
The Wolverines broke open a tight game in the third period as they took a 13-point win over the Wildcats.
Each team scored 12 points in the first period and the game was tied at 28-28 at the half. East Webster then pulled away in the third as they outscored Houlka 25-12 to take a 53-40 lead going into the fourth. East Webster was able to hold that lead in the fourth, outscoring Houlka 18-16 to take the win.
Sedrick Taylor had his best game of the season with 21 points while Carrin Townsend had 18 points. Keevon Patterson had 11 points while Nash Caldwell added eight points.
