The Lady Wildcats of Louisville (5-1) exploded for their second 90-plus point performance of the season when it defeated Kemper County (0-6) 91-15 last Tuesday.

“I think the girls came out and played hard,” said head coach Kenyon Ross said. “It was the first game at home in front of the home crowd this year. The girls were really amped up and ready to play. We just took control of the game from the tip.”
The Louisville’s girls game slated against West Point was also postponed and will be played at a later date. The Lady Wildcats host West Lauderdale (3-6) on Friday and face Pearl (7-0) in Moss Point on Saturday.

Kemper County (5-3) used a 17-point fourth quarter to grab a 59-55 victory over Louisville (1-6) last Tuesday.
Both squads battled back-and-forth all contest, and Kemper County took a 27-24 lead into halftime.
Louisville outscored Kemper County 20-15 in the third quarter and led 44-42 at the end of the frame.
“Being short-handed, we’re so inconsistent,” Ross said. “We have a lot of guys playing out of position and things like that. The numbers that we have, it takes a toll against teams like Kemper and some of the other teams we play that press you and run you. It’s a disadvantage right now. If you look at some of the box scores, we’ll be right there in the first half, and I just think the toll from the number of kids we have playing, and the inexperience, it just takes a toll on us in the third and fourth quarter.”
Three Louisville players scored in double digits.
Tequavious Braggs tallied a team-high 14 points. Clayton Maury added 13, Cameron Frazier pitched in with 11 and Tyrell Thames ended with 10. The Wildcats host West Lauderdale (2-7) on Friday.
