The Nanih Waiya Lady Warriors enjoyed a good week on the basketball courts as they came away with two wins, including a 41-24 win over rival Noxapater.
The Lady Warriors also beat Starkville Christian 26-21 but fell 60-27 to Sebastopol.
Nanih Waiya will return to action this week as they travel to West Lowndes on Tuesday and will host Hamilton on Friday.
Noxapater will travel to Vardaman on Tuesday in their only action this week.

Noxapater 24
The Lady Warriors overcame an early deficit and took a 17-point win over the Lady Tigers on Friday.
Noxapater led 7-2 before Nanih Waiya turned up the defensive pressure and outscored the Lady Tigers 18-3 in the second period to take a 20-10 lead into the half. Nanih Waiya continued to extend its lead in the second half as they outscored Noxapater 6-4 in the third and 15-10 in the fourth.
“They came out and just outplayed us in the first quarter,” Nanih Waiya coach Jason Morgan said. "We were so flat offensively too. After that, we really sped up the tempo, and that gave us the opportunity to take control.”
Bria Tubby led Nanih Waiya with 13 points while Dallyn Nance had 10 points. Taina Thompson also had six points while T.J. Redhouse and Lindsey Copeland each had four points apiece.
Morgan Hunter led Nanih Waiya with 14 points.

Starkville Christian 21
The Lady Warriors grabbed another win as they pulled away in the second half for a five-point win.
Starkville led 7-6 at the end of the first period and 13-11 at the half. Nanih Waiya got the lead back in the third period as they outscored the Lady Cougars 9-5 in the third to take a 20-18 lead into the fourth. The Lady Warriors outscored the Lady Cougars 6-3 in the fourth to take the win.
Bria Tubby led Nanih Waiya with nine points while Dallyn Nance had six points and Jalia Cotton added five points.
Sebastopol girls 60,
Nanih Waiya 27
The Lady Bobcats jumped out to a big lead in the first period and cruised to a 33-point win over the Lady Warriors.
Sebastopol jumped out to a 29-6 lead in the first period and led 37-11 at the half. The Lady Bobcats outscored the Lady Warriors 9-8 in the third and 14-8 in the fourth for the final margin.
Bria Tubby led Nanih Waiya with nine points while T.J. Redhouse had seven points and Hannah Higginbotham added five points.
Hamilton girls 65,
Noxapater 14
The Lady Tigers struggled from the field as the Lady Lions built a huge first-period lead to a take a division win.
Hamilton led 20-1 at the end of the first and 43-4 at the half.
Lanie Boatner led Noxapater with seven points.
