The Noxapater Lady Tigers picked up a pair of big wins last week.
After opening the week with a 10-0 loss to Sebastopol on Monday, the Lady Tigers beat rival Nanih Waiya 15-4 on Thursday and then beat Winona 15-12 in an eight-inning contest.
Noxapater will return to acton on Friday as they play a pair of games in the Eupora Tournament, taking on the Lady Eagles at 10 a.m. and will then take on Madison St. Joseph at 1 p.m.
Noxapater 15,
Nanih Waiya 4
After failing to score in the first, the Lady Tigers scored in every inning after and took a six-inning, run-rule victory over the rival Lady Warriors on Thursday.
Nanih Waiya scored two runs in the first inning and fifth inngs before Noxapater scored two in the second, fifth and sixth innings. The Lady Tigers scored four in the third and five in the fourth to take the win.
The Lady Tigers had 12 hits in the contest as Raleigh Parker was 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Princess Welch was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBIs and two stolen bases while Lexi Thomas was 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Morgan Duran was 2-for-4 with a double and three runs scored while Madelyn Wilkes had a triple and three RBIs. Fantasia Carter also had a single and drove in two runs as well.
Lexi Thomas pitched all six innings in the circle to pick up the win as she allowed four runs on four hits while striking out seven.

Winona 12
The Lady Tigers of Noxapater needed eight innings to take a three-run win over Winona on Friday.
Winona jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings and before Noxapater answered with three in the third and two in the fourth to tie the game at 5-5. But Winona scored three in the fourth and sixth and one in the fifth. Noxapater used a six-run sixth inning to send the game into extra innings.
The eighth inning start in the international tie breaker with Madelyn Wilkes at second base. She scored on a single by Morgan Duran. The Lady Tigers added two more runs and led 15-12. Wilkes then pitched the eighth but didn’t allow a run to preserve the win for the Lady Tigers.Lexi Thomas pitched the first seven innings and gave up 12 runs, only three earned, on 13 hits and four walks while striking out 11. Wilkes pitched the last inning and struck out two.

Noxapater 0
The Lady Tigers had just four hits in a loss to Sebastopol on Monday.
Raleigh Parker, Madelyn Wilkes, Addy Webb and Princess Welch each had singles for Noxapater.
Lexi Thomas was the losing pitcher as she pitched seven innings and gave up 11 hits and three walks while striking out nine.
