The Noxapater Lady Tigers picked up two wins last week on the softball diamond.
The Lady Tigers beat Scott Central 14-5 and Columbus 25-13 while dropping decision to Leake Central 3-2, French Camp 6-2 and Ethel 10-0.
Noxapater, now 4-5 on the season, was scheduled to return to play on Monday as they hosted Choctaw County. The Lady Tigers will then travel to rival Nanih Waiya on Thursday to finish out the week.
Leake Central 3, Noxapater 2
The Lady Tigers only had one hit in a one-run loss to Leake Central on Saturday.
Noxapater scored two runs in the first inning before Leake Central scored three in the fourth.
Nona Wilkes had Noxapater’s only hit and scored a run while Lexi Thomas walked and scored a run.
Thomas started in the circle and pitched 3 2/3 innings and gave up three runs on four hits and two walks.
Noxapater 14, Scott Central 5
The Lady Tigers jumped out quick and took a nine-run win over the Lady Rebels on Saturday.
Noxapater scored seven in the first, five in the second and two in the third. Scott Central scored two in the first, followed by one in the second, third and fourth innings.
Noxapater had seven hits as Kaitlyn Sunburn was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Princess Welch had a double, scored twice and drove in three runs while Katelyn Barnett tripled and drove in three runs. Morgan Duran doubled, scored two runs and had two RBIs.
Morgan Duran started in the circle and pitched all four innings, giving up five runs on four hits and five walks while striking out two.
Noxapater 25, Columbus 13
The Lady Tigers scored 15 runs in the fourth to take a 12-run win over Class 6A Columbus on Friday.
Noxapater scored two in the first and second and one in the third and trailed 10-5 after three innings. That’s when the Lady Tigers scored 15 in the fourth and five in the fifth to take the win.
The Lady Tigers had 15 hits in the contest, led by Katelyn Barnett who was 4-for-5 with a double, a grand slam home run, three runs scored and seven RBIs. Kaitlyn Sanborn was 3-for-5 with three runs scored while Addy Webb was 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks, three runs scored and four RBIs. Marley Joiner was 2-for-3 with four runs scored while Nona Wilkes was 2-for-5. Madison Riggs had four walks, scored three times and had three RBIs while Lexi Thomas and Morgan Duran each scored three runs. Princess Welch also scored two runs.
Lexi Thomas pitched the final 2 1/3 innings and gave up three runs on three hits while striking out three.
French Camp 6, Noxapater 2
The Lady Tigers had just five hits as the Lady Panthers took a four-run win on Thursday.
French Camp scored two in the second and fourth and one in the third and sixth. Noxapater scored one in the fourth and sixth.
Morgan Duran was 2-for-3 with a double and one runs scored while Kaitlyn Sanborn singled and scored a run. Nona Wilkes and Marley Joiner each singled as well.
Lexi Thomas got the start in the circle and pitched all six innings, giving up six runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out seven.
Ethel 10, Noxapater 0
Ethel scored in five of the six innings they batted to take six-inning, run-rule win on Monday.
Ethel scored two in the first, fourth and fifth innings with three in third and one in the sixth.
Noxapater had four hits in the contest as Marley Joiner was 2-for-3 with a double while Lexi Thomas and Morgan Duran each singled.
Thomas started in the circle and gave up 10 runs on 11 hits and five walks while striking out four.
