The Eupora Lady Eagles started off Division 2-2A play with a win last week, beating Leflore County 46-21.
The Eagles weren’t as fortunate as Leflore County took a 79-57 win on Friday night.
Eupora will return to action this week as they will host Calhoun City on Tuesday and rival East Webster on Friday. Both games are Division 2-2A contests for Eupora.

The Lady Eagles picked up a much-needed victory on Friday as they beat the Lady Panthers by 25 to open division play.
Leflore led 6-5 at the end of the first period before Eupora outscore the Lady Panthers 14-8 to take a 19-14 lead into the half. The Lady Eagles dominated the second half as they outscored the Lady Panthers 15-4 in the third and 12-3 in the fourth to take the win.
Kyla Patterson led Eupora with 16 points while Takiyah Townsend had 14 points. Nadia Correy and Princess Carr each had six points apiece.

The Panthers outscored the Eagles in every period as they took a 22-point win on Friday.
Leflore County jumped out to a 28-17 lead in the first period and outscored the Eagles 16-12 in the second to lead 44-29 at the half. Leflore continued to extend its lead in the second half, outscoring Eupora 13-8 in the third and 22-20 in the fourth for the final margin.
Zak Morris and Jarrean Patterson each had 11 points apiece for the Eagles while Camron Culpepper had seven points.
