Choctaw County softball remained perfect in Region 3-3A with a 19-3 victory over Ruleville Central. Two other games scheduled last week were rained out.
The Lady Chargers defeated Ruleville Central 19-3 to improve to 4-0 in region play, with four region games remaining before the 3A playoffs begin April 19.
Makenzie Sanders and Molly Thomas did the pitching against Ruleville Central.
Choctaw County has two region wins against J.Z. George and one each against Charleston and Ruleville Central. The Lady Chargers had a doubleheader scheduled this past Monday with Amanda Elzy, will play at Charleston Friday and at Ruleville Central next Monday in region games.
Choctaw County also had a non region game with Nanih Waiya scheduled for Tuesday.
If Choctaw County wins the region, the Lady Chargers will receive a first round bye and will play a best-of-three series with a team from Region 2 or Region 4 April 22 or 23. The other region teams each have at least one loss.
Games with Starkville and Eupora that were rained out will not be rescheduled.
