Despite a rocky regular season, the Eupora Eagles may be getting hot at the right time.
The Eagles have won six straight games to climb above the .500 mark as they swept West Bolivar in the first round of the Class 2A North State playoffs, winning 14-2 and 8-3.
In other games last week, Eupora beat Leflore County 15-0 and 20-0 on Tuesday while beating Noxapater 17-4 on Monday.
Eupora, now 13-12 on the season, will take on East Union in the second round of the Class 2A North State playoffs. The Urchins beat Philadelphia 8-0 and 16-1 to advance to the second round.

West Bolivar 2
The Eagles used a pair of big innings and took a five-inning, run-rule win over West Bolivar on Saturday to sweep the two-game series.
Eupora scored five in the first, two in the second and third and seven in the fourth.
The Eagles had 13 hits in the contest as Tanner Knight was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs. Tanner Fletcher was 2-for-4 with two RBIs while Brett May was 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Al Dumas was 2-for-5 with two runs scored. Dustin Cabaniss had a double and two RBIs while Cade Adkins scored three runs and Jacob Collum scored twice.
Dumas got the start on the mound and picked up the five-inning win, giving up two runs on one hit and a strikeout in 55 pitches.
Eupora 8,
West Bolivar 3
The Eagles scored first and never trailed as they took a five-run win over West Bolivar i the opening round of the Class 2A playoffs.
Eupora opened with one in the first and three in the second to go up 4-0. West scored two in the third before Eupora scored four in the fourth. West added one in the sixth.
Eupora had five hits in the contest as Al Dumas was 3-for-4 with a double and two triples as she scored three times and had two RBIs. Jacob Collum and Dustin Cabaniss each singled and scored.
Brett May pitched four innings and gave up two runs on two hits and six walks while striking out five. Cade Adkins pitched one inning and struck out three while Parker Knight pitched two inning and gave up just one run.
Eupora 15,
Leflore County 0
Eupora needed just 2 1/2 innings to take win over Leflore in the second game of a doubleheader on Tuesday.
Eupora scored 10 in the first and five in the second on just four hits while taking advantage of three hit batters, four errors and 10 walks. Ty Murphy had a single scored twice and drove in two runs while Tanner Fletcher had a single and drove in two runs. Brett May had a single and scored twice while Parker Knight, Austin Green and Al Dumas each scored twice.
Parker Knight got the start and pitched two perfect innings while Dustin Cabaniss pitched the final inning and gave up two hits.
Eupora 20,
Leflore County 0
The Eagles scored 15 runs in the first inning and cruised to a blowout win in Game 1 of the doubleheader on Tuesday.
After the 15-run first, Eupora scored five in the second.
Eupora had seven hits in the game as Tanner Knight had a double, scored twice and drove in two runs. Jacob Collum had scored two runs and had two RBIs while Austin Green had a single and two RBIs. Parker Knight scored three times while Brett May and Tanner Knight each scored two runs apiece. Drew Tabb also had a double.
Al Dumas threw the first inning and struck out two while Tabb pitched two innings and gave up one hit while striking out five.
