The Grace Christian baseball team scored 40 runs in two games with wins over Scott County Home School 15-7 and Hebron Christian 25-2 to improve to 4-1.
Against Scott County, Clay Crowder and Alex Taylor had a single and double and Grant Bontrager singled twice. Crowder drove in one run and scored two, Taylor scored three times and drove in one and Bontrager had two RBIs and scored two runs. Taylor pitched the first three innings and Crowder the last four to pick up the win.
The Eagles had 11 hits in a four-inning win over Hebron Christian. Crowder, Bontrager, Taylor and Brandon Mast had two hits each. Taylor and Crowder both scored four runs, while Taylor and Mast had three RBIs each. Bontrager allowed one hit and no earned runs, with six strikeouts.
Grace Christian played Columbus Christian Monday and Scott County Tuesday. The Eagles will be at Calhoun Academy Thursday.
