Grace Christian won two games and lost one last week, improving the record to 9-3. The Eagles defeated Hebron Christian 6-3 and Discovery Christian of Florence 10-0 following a 17-2 loss to Jackson Victors.
Grant Bontrager was two for two against Hebron Christian with a double and triple, two RBIs, one run scored and three stolen bases. Alex Taylor had two hits, scored three runs and stole four bases, Brandon Mast singled twice and West Agnew tripled and drove home two runs.
Taylor and Clay Crowded shared the pitching, allowing five hits, with 11 strikeouts.
Bontrager had a big game against Discovery Christian, hitting for the cycle with five RBIs and four runs scored. Agnew was four for four, Crowder three for three with a double and three runs scored and Mast tripled, scored a run and drove in two, while going the distance on the mound for the shutout. He allowed three hits in six innings with nine strikeouts and one walk.
Mast had the Eagles' only hit against Jackson Victors.
Grace Christian was set to play Kemper Academy Monday and New Summit of Jackson Tuesday. The Eagles have a home game Friday against Calhoun Academy.
